Based on the color catalog, a shade was chosen that ultimately ended up being almost pink instead of the desired red.

The color of the house is based on that of a typical Swedish country house. It is a dark red with brownish tones, as shown in the following diagram, where the eaves, windows, and doors are white:



If you want to avoid bright white, the closest colors would be "Temptress" and "Sugar Dust" from SIPA:

Color mix

The color mixing was done at SODIMAC in Valdivia and, at first glance, it matched, although it appeared slightly lighter:

Application view in case of shadow

After applying the first coat, the color appears much more pink than originally intended. This is partly due to the yellowish tint of the fiber cement and partly due to the significant effect that light or the lack thereof (shadow) has on color perception. In this case, the view from the south side (shadow) is as follows:

The effect changes significantly when viewed in sunlight, appearing much more pink than intended:

If it's not possible to correct the color, it's not a problem; Denise already likes it, and maybe our lives will change living in a Barbie-style house.
