The installation of the SIP panels on the roof presents the challenge that they are mounted on inclined surfaces that are not necessarily exactly parallel, which can easily create gaps that need to be sealed.

Once the sealing is done, infrared light measurements can be used to verify the weakest points in the sealing and reinforce them.

Using light, it can be seen that there are gaps between the ceiling and the walls of the attic:

Since there is a substantial surface between the wall and the ceiling (the width of the SIP panel), it is possible to fill the gaps with expanding foam.
