Eaves

Storyboard

In the original design, the eaves of the east and west modules were defined as extensions of the SIP panels. For some unknown reason, when assembling the roof, it was assumed that this was a mistake, and part of the eaves was cut off. They were eventually rebuilt in wood.

In the original design, it is assumed that the SIP panels of the roof cover the entire surface and extend to the eaves, protruding over the walls of the house:

The error

Description

For some unexplained reason, the SIP panels, which arrived with the correct dimensions, were cut on-site so that they did not protrude, eliminating the eaves on almost the entire east side and half of the west side.

In the case of the east side, the plan can be compared with the reality:

On the east side, only one piece of the panel was left uncut:

While on the west side, one of the sides was completely cut:

The correction

Description

To correct the error, the eave was reconstructed in wood, forming the necessary structure to support the roof panels.

On the east side, you can see the "sandwich" with a panel on the bottom and the roof with its support on the top:

On the west side, the structure is seen before completion, with only the roof supports visible:
